Bitcraft’s Third Birthday!

Posted on Posted in bitcraft, Job opportunities

Amazing three years!

During the last weekend of September we’ve been celebrating our 3rd birthday, Yeah it’s been three years already! Three years of drinking hectolitres of coffee, writing amazing code and meeting awesome people, one would think – how to celebrate that? Well – here’s our way.

Our BitCraft family have stayed the whole weekend in a beautiful surroundings of Mazovian district’s wild nature. We’ve explored the wonderful neighbourhood traveling by kayaks and relaxed in our hotel’s SPA.

I believe the most fun we’ve had was with “Gigantic Foosball” Tournament! We had 6 teams: Prezesi (en: the CEOs), Mocni w Gębie (en: the all talks), WTF (en: self explanatory 🙂 ), Pokemony (en: the pokemons), Szmaty (en: the second-hands) and 404 (en: yeah, we’re that much geek); each team consisted of 5 people. Each match lasted 10minutes. In the grand finale the WTF team crushed Prezesi 8:4! The winning team included our CEO and Vice President – coincidence? 😉

During the official part with presentation our last year have been summarised. So, what’s changed?

In a year we’ve grown as a team and as a company. Since Sales department have been established we’ve managed to expand to more foreign markets like USA, Australia, Finland, Luxembourg, UK and many more. We’ve become more diligent thanks to our Project Managers and Project Architect joining our team. Because of hard teamwork we’ve managed to establish our position on the market as a solid and trustworthy IT company.

The best 8 employees have been awarded with the “Worker of the year award” in two categories: commitment to work and personal growth. Kudos for your hard work people!

Finishing the official part, it was time to relax, dance and celebrate our birthday till the very Sunday morning 😀

Summing up, it was an amazing year! We’ve grown so much, learned so much, met incredible, inspiring people. Hopefully we’ll be growing as fast in the future as we’re growing now.
